NTRAG's sessional workshops focus on different types of research evidence, for example randomised controlled trials, systematic reviews, or qualitative research. By looking at evidence relevant to a particular healthcare topic - e.g. cardiovascular disease, depression, HIV - participants are given a structured method for appraising the evidence and determining how useful it might be in informing decision-making or related practice.

The workshops follow our characteristic problem-orientated, interactive learning
format, which enables participants to ask questions, clarify points of difficulty
and actively develop their critical appraisal skills.
(This will vary slightly according to the workshop topic and participants' interests)
